INSCAPE DESIGN COLLEGE
Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town

As the only private college to have its Architectural Draughting and the technical documentation module of its Interior Design courses validated by the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP), Inscape Design College continues to deliver some of the best design education in the market. Inscape’s offerings range from HEQC accredited Bachelor of Design degrees in interior design and graphic design, to a bridging year for students who don’t meet the art requirement for entry into the courses. For the mature student, or students who would like to work while they are studying, we offer part-time certificate courses in both Architectural Draughting and Interior Decorating. Our students are important as individuals, as well as part of a team. In order to nourish this, we have a maximum of 20 people in a class, and all of our lecturers are encouraged to participate in industry projects to ensure that our students have the best possible industry training when they attain their degree or certificate. We attribute the success that our students enjoy in the industry directly to the fact that our courses are written with the industry in mind, and adjusted on a yearly basis with input from our academic council. Whilst meeting the requirements of an academic environment, we always keep in mind that our students will have to function in the real world of design. Inscape College is an Education Member of the IID.
